April 22 at the municipal cultural institution "Center for History and Culture Demyansk district" in the village of Demyansk Novgorod region starts a solo traveling exhibition of works by artist Victoria Novgorod Sakharova "Hail revived." The exhibition is organized by the State Museum of Art of Novgorod land under the programme "Living Tradition" and is a part of the exhibition project "Memory of generations" under the auspices of the celebration of the 70 -th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941 – 1945 years.
The exhibition will be opened for visitors from 22.04.2015 till 31.05.2015.
Victoria Stanislavovna Sakharov was born in January 5,1954 in the city of Chelyabinsk. In 1973, she has graduated from the Leningrad art – graphic pedagogical College № 2. In 1979, she has graduated from art – graphic faculty of the Leningrad pedagogical Institute named after A. I. Herzen. For many years the life of the author related to teaching. Victoria Stanislavovna had been teaching a creative discipline in Children's art school, in the First University gymnasium named after V. V. Soroka, then at the faculty of architecture, art and construction in the Novgorod state University named after Yaroslav The Wise and she is a Member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1997.
Victoria Stanislavovna is a participant of art exhibitions of different levels: provincial, regional, national and International. Currently, she is a permanent participant of the events in Russia and abroad. The works of Victoria Stanislavovna are filled with great lyricism and a kind of musicality. The name "Hail the revival of" is not accidental, the exhibition presents works of the author with the image restored architectural ensembles of Veliky Novgorod and the surrounding area.
During the occupation of Novgorod was almost completely destroyed. Some of the unique attractions of the city were destroyed. The destruction was so great, that were perceived as irreparable loss of a part of the national culture. By order, dated November 1, 1945 Novgorod was included among the 15 oldest cities for Priority recovery. To date, Novgorod restorers studied, preserved or restored more than 200 monuments of architecture, the components of the rich heritage of the region. By UNESCO in 1992, 37 monuments and ensembles of Veliky Novgorod were included in the List of World cultural heritage.
